The Grand Drawing Circus: Booth Museum
On the 29th October 2015 the Drawing Circus held a Grand Drawing Circus at the Booth Museum of Natural history for the Big Draw, this was the first event held in a museum, amidst the cases of victorian taxidermy and specimens of natural history.

We cordially invite you to an evening at Booth Museum from 19:00-22:30 on the 29th October, where you will be called upon to record in your sketches the latest acquisitions of the Rarest specimens, presented in Tableau for your drawing pleasure. The following information goes some way to answer questions you may have about this most Rare and Auspicious occasion...
Poses adopted by the twelve species on display will be of the following lengths: Three minutes, Fifteen Minutes or Forty Five Minutes with animals from the permanent collection posing indefinitely. A schedule of pose timings is attached and will also be disseminated amongst guests on the evening. Poses continue without break; you may move through the museum at will."
